The cornerstone of Travel Oregon's marketing plan is the media placement and partnership program that serves to promote Oregon as a premier travel destination. All of our marketing campaigns seek to increase the awareness and image of Oregon in a highly competitive travel marketplace and convert that interest to trips taken in Oregon. Our media plan, as well as our overall marketing programs, are informed by the extensive research conducted by the Commission on visitor demographics, trip attributes, and Oregon’s image and advertising accountability.
Now three years into its implementation, Travel Oregon's print campaign, "The Book of Oregon," is the most effective advertising campaign the Commission has ever run in terms of generating trips to the state. For a sample of our advertising creative, please see our resource library.
