Travel Oregon staff oversees the development, production and distribution of a family of publications designed to deliver the brand message, inspire travel to and within Oregon, and facilitate travel planning. We also support niche-market collateral development with external partners and associations.

  • Travel Oregon Magazine (Download media kit in pdf)

It features unique travel ideas and information to motivate visitors to travel to, and around, Oregon.  It is distributed through State Welcome Centers, area Visitor Information Centers, Portland International Airport, lodging properties across the state, and in response to requests made via web, phone and mail.  This four-color magazine—debuted in 2002 and redesigned in 2004—is published in February (Spring/Summer – 200,000 copies) and August (Fall/Winter – 150,000 copies).

    Uniquely Oregon is a special marketplace section in Travel Oregon magazine, which is designed to showcase unique products and services in three categories: Homegrown (Oregon grown specialty foods, Oregon wines, microbreweries and more for the culinary enthusiast); Tours and Adventures (special Oregon experiences around the state); Local Finds (gifts, crafts, jewelry, art and more, created by local Oregon artists).


  • Scenic Byways Guide

Filled with information and resources visitors can’t do without and can’t find any place else in the market, this guide will provides the visitor with detailed travel information spanning the seven regions of Oregon:

    Travel Oregon will distribute the guide annually. Visitors can obtain the guide through the official state welcome centers and visitors centers around the state where the guide will serve as an all-inclusive resource within many lodging properties and direct by inquiry through TravelOregon.com and the companion 800 customer service phone number.
