Travel Oregon staff oversees the development, production and distribution of a family of publications designed to deliver the brand message, inspire travel to and within Oregon, and facilitate travel planning. We also support niche-market collateral development with external partners and associations.

Provides an overview of the current marketing opportunities available to Travel Oregon’s partners (including: Online, Advertising/Promotions, Fulfillment, Tradeshows, and Training). (pdf)
- Travel Oregon Magazine (Download media kit in pdf)
The showpiece for the state, Travel Oregon magazine is the Commission’s most requested publication. It features unique travel ideas and information to motivate visitors to travel to, and around, Oregon. It is distributed through State Welcome Centers, area Visitor Information Centers, Portland International Airport, lodging properties across the state, and in response to requests made via web, phone and mail. This four-color magazine—debuted in 2002 and redesigned in 2004—is published in February (Spring/Summer – 200,000 copies) and August (Fall/Winter – 150,000 copies).
- Scenic Byways Guide
Our third most-requested guide after Travel Oregon magazine and the Oregon State Map, we reprinted the Scenic Byways Guide for 2007 and are seeking additional funding to update and fulfill the guide through 2009.
- Travel Oregon Kids Guide (Download media kit in pdf)
This four-color guide to the state is designed just for kids (target ages 9-12) and features sponsored activity pages and favorite activities from local children.
- Travel Oregon’s New 2008 “Destination Guide” (Download media kit in pdf)
Produced by popular demand, the Travel Oregon Destination Guide is slated to launch in June 2008 and will be the official state resource guide. Designed as an itinerary planning piece and a complete source for statewide lodging accommodations and will be filled with information and resources visitors can’t do without and can’t find any place else in the market. This new guide will provide the visitor with detailed travel information spanning the seven regions of Oregon:
- How to get from A to Z
- What to see and do
- Where to stay
- Where to go
Travel Oregon will distribute the guide annually. Visitors can obtain the guide through the official state welcome centers and visitors centers around the state where the guide will serve as an all-inclusive resource within many lodging properties and direct by inquiry through TravelOregon.com and the companion 800 customer service phone number.
