Global Marketing

The Global Marketing team executes best-in-class marketing to consumers in our key domestic and international markets.  Recognized as a national leader in pioneering communication strategies, the marketing team drives inspiration and creates innovative tools to help visitors in every stage of their Oregon travel experience.  The studios that make up the Global Marketing Department (Creative Services, Global Communications, Integrated Marketing and Marketing Services) serve as a resource for the agency and our industry partners in order to deliver the objectives of Travel Oregon’s strategic plan and drive growth in Oregon’s economy.

  1. Kevin Wright

    • Develops and executes strategic plan that establishes priorities for consumer marketing/client services
    • Assures timely fulfillment of agency-wide marketing services
    • Oversees internal studio areas of focus, workflow, staffing and budgets

  2. Meredith Williams

    • Supports the Global Marketing department
    • Coordinates departmental marketing meetings, trainings, initiatives and communications
    • Provides administrative support to the Vice President, Global Marketing

  3. Katy Clair

    • Manages projects that require deliverables from multiple Global Marketing studies, including day to day management of advertising campaigns
    • Manages corporate partnerships with companies that align with the Travel Oregon brand
    • Point person for connecting Travel Oregon industry partners with Global Marketing department

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love to run on any Oregon trail or road I can find with my dog and husband in tow and a great IPA waiting for me at the end

  4. Amy Walker

    • Manages projects from multiple areas of the marketing services group
    • Manages day-to-day operations of creative services; develops and delivers creative materials to meet agency needs
    • Manages creative assets/archives on behalf of agency

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Skiing with friends and enjoying a great Oregon micro post-run

  5. Judiaann Woo

    • Develops and executes proactive media strategy and corporate communications plan
    • Coordinates statewide messaging alignment with internal and external partners through presentations, talking points, and interview prep/support
    • Official spokesperson for Travel Oregon

  6. Linea Gagliano

    • Develops industry pitches and storylines for business media
    • Supports agency with press releases and talking points
    • Works with industry partners to align messages
    • Manages industry media events

  7. Michelle Woodard

    • Manages the industry e-newsletter and works across the organization to develop content and strategy for delivery
    • Develops and manages the editorial calendar for communications to Oregon’s travel & tourism industry
    • Works with the Integrated Marketing team on industry website development and improvement

  8. Allison Keeney

    • Supports Director, Global Communications, in implementing media strategies for Travel Oregon
    • Provides administrative and responsive media support for the Global Communications studio
    • Organizes meetings with external partners and internal teams; coordinates media events and media visits

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Enjoying concerts at one of the many music venues around Portland

  9. Mo Sherifdeen

    • Oversees long-term global digital strategy and brand presence for Travel Oregon across owned, paid and earned channels
    • Manages global publishing and editorial content strategy across portfolio of print and digital channels
    • Creates, implements, manages and measures all digital efforts and reports against key performance indicators

  10. Emily Forsha

    • Manages global editorial calendar and ensures all digital and print publications meet the highest standards for quality communication
    • Implements day-to-day editorial content production on, consumer e-newsletters, social media channels and annual visitor guide
    • Manages the Ask Oregon program and interacts and builds relationships with Travel Oregon’s digital communities

  11. Kate Jorgensen

    • Manages project and program deliverables, team, schedule, scope and budget
    • Acts as liasion between internal and external clients, integrated team and contractors
    • Collaborates with the digital team and external clients to create, implement, manage and measure all digital efforts against key performance indicators

  12. Bryant Marban

    • Responsible for digital production
    • Manages tourism listings, Orb database platform development and partnerships
    • Manages photography and video assets

  13. Michael Sturdevant

    • Leads global advertising planning, evaluation and development of cooperative partner opportunities, business development and fulfillment/call center
    • Works with external and internal stakeholders in development and management of Regional Cooperative Marketing Plans
    • Oversees research and analytics and the Business Intelligence Platform

    • Provides support in development of integrated advertising plans and co-op marketing programs
