Global Marketing

The Global Marketing team executes best-in-class marketing to consumers in our key domestic and international markets.  Recognized as a national leader in pioneering communication strategies, the marketing team drives inspiration and creates innovative tools to help visitors in every stage of their Oregon travel experience.  The studios that make up the Global Marketing Department (Creative Services, Global Communications, Integrated Marketing and Marketing Services) serve as a resource for the agency and our industry partners in order to deliver the objectives of Travel Oregon’s strategic plan and drive growth in Oregon’s economy.

    • Leads Global Marketing program of work
    • Develops strategic marketing plan to position Oregon as an unparalleled travel destination
    • Leads agency-wide marketing services studios areas of focus, workflow, staffing and budgets

  2. Christina Tuchman

    • Supports the Global Marketing department
    • Coordinates departmental meetings, trainings, and communications
    • Provides administrative support to the Vice President, Global Marketing

  3. Katy Clair

    • Manages advertising campaigns
    • Oversees all multi-studio consumer and industry programs and projects
    • Guides the creative and brand implementation process

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love to run on any Oregon trail or road I can find with my dog and husband in tow and a great IPA waiting for me at the end

  4. Kelda Schmidt

    • Tracks and manages multi-studio briefs and projects
    • Identifies and facilitates day-to-day cross-studio projects within agency
    • Provides support on marketing projects

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love to load my family in our camper van and hit the Coast to surf, fish and run on the beach

    • Oversees the Travel Oregon brand
    • Day-to-day project management of creative projects
    • Provides creative counsel and assistance to regional and local communities with brand positioning and creative materials as needed

    • Develops and executes proactive media strategy and corporate communications plan
    • Coordinates statewide messaging alignment with internal and external partners
    • Official spokesperson for Travel Oregon

  7. Allison Keeney

    • Manages consumer communications plan
    • Internal lead on campaign work to help elevate marketing campaigns and special projects
    • Backup for industry/business reactive media inquiries/talking points

  8. Jaime Eder

    • Responds to reactive consumer media requests
    • Tracks and manages Travel Oregon coverage
    • Develops itineraries for press trips
    • Tracks media requests and communications briefs

  9. Jamie Porter

    • Oversees the industry site
    • Composes and edits all industry-facing newsletters
    • Maintains and updates the internal communications content calendar
    • Manages Industry Communications team meetings

  10. Mo Sherifdeen

    • Directs the agency’s digital and publishing strategy
    • Manages agency’s web, content and social teams and vendors
    • Leads new partnerships and revenue programs with DMOs, brand and other state agencies

    • Oversees strategy, implementation and maintenance of agency-owned platforms
    • Leads cross-functional project teams through discovery, execution and closure
    • Ensures projects are on time and aligned with agency objectives

  12. Sachie Yorck

    • Publishes content on and consumer social media channels
    • Writes and edits copy for marketing initiatives
    • Produces consumer newsletters and email activations

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Soaking in hot springs on a cold winter day or cooling off in a calm river during the summertime and finding agates

  13. Cecilia Suvagian

    • Creates and maintains points of interest in the Oregon Tourism Information System (OTIS)
    • Provides OTIS platform training and support to industry partners
    • Serves as primary point of contact for OTIS content and listing updates

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Listening to live music outdoors or enjoying a delicious Oregon beverage at a brewery with a view.

  14. Beth Albany

    • First point of contact for all platforms and content projects for Integrated Studio briefing process.
    • Provides day-to-day tactical support for agency-owned platforms and content projects.
    • Coordinates meetings, communications, and deadlines for the Integrated Marketing Team

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Hiking around Crater Lake and visiting our numerous breweries

  15. Michael Sturdevant

    • Oversees the development and direction of research, insights, analytics, the Welcome Center Program and fulfillment
    • Develops Travel Oregon marketing strategies

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love taking my family to the Oregon Coast to experience our beautiful beaches

  16. Ladan Ghahramani

    • Oversees Travel Oregon’s research program to provide meaningful data and insights, which can be used to inform strategic decisions across the Oregon tourism industry
    • Conducts research and provides strategic analysis, which is then communicated to Travel Oregon’s stakeholders
    • Manages third party vendors to deliver accurate and relevant research to help Travel Oregon reach its goals

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Walking around historic districts and exploring museums in beautiful Oregon.

  17. Bryan Mullaney

    • Manages Travel Oregon’s advertising agencies in the day-to-day execution of media plans
    • Oversees the visitor lifecycle management (VLM) platform, which provides visitors with relevant, aspirational and timely content based on their travel needs.
    • Manages the business intelligence system that tracks key performance measures and translates them into recommendations for strategic marketing direction

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love spending hours in the mountains exploring Oregon’s incredible singletrack trails.

  18. Ariana Bray-Sweet

    • Manages Travel Oregon’s consumer data assets
    • Builds comprehensive reports & dashboards to assist in strategic marketing decisions
    • Manages the consumer email strategy and compliance
    • Oversees domestic guide fulfillment & call center

  19. Holly Van De Wege

    • Coordinates projects and tasks related to Travel Oregon’s fulfillment, research, analytics and welcome center programs
    • Serves as primary contact for and provides day-to-day oversight of Travel Oregon’s fulfilment vendor
    • Provides support to various marketing initiatives, as needed, including fulfillment of online sweepstakes and contest prizes

  20. Allison George

    • Oversees seven Travel Oregon Welcome Centers and the Welcome Center Brochure Program
    • Day-to-day management of welcome center related projects, including brand implementation

  21. Stephannie Lewis

    • Oversees day-to-day operations of the welcome center at the Portland International Airport
    • Responsible for providing state and local travel information and recommendations to visitors
