Global Marketing

The Global Marketing team executes best-in-class marketing to consumers in our key domestic and international markets.  Recognized as a national leader in pioneering communication strategies, the marketing team drives inspiration and creates innovative tools to help visitors in every stage of their Oregon travel experience.  The studios that make up the Global Marketing Department (Creative Services, Global Communications, Integrated Marketing and Marketing Services) serve as a resource for the agency and our industry partners in order to deliver the objectives of Travel Oregon’s strategic plan and drive growth in Oregon’s economy.

  1. Kevin Wright

    • Leads Global Marketing program of work
    • Develops strategic marketing plan to position Oregon as an unparalleled travel destination
    • Leads agency-wide marketing services studios areas of focus, workflow, staffing and budgets

  2. Christina Tuchman

    • Supports the Global Marketing department
    • Coordinates departmental meetings, trainings, and communications
    • Provides administrative support to the Vice President, Global Marketing

  3. Katy Clair

    • Manages projects that require deliverables from multiple Global Marketing studies, including day to day management of advertising campaigns
    • Manages corporate partnerships with companies that align with the Travel Oregon brand
    • Point person for connecting Travel Oregon industry partners with Global Marketing department

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love to run on any Oregon trail or road I can find with my dog and husband in tow and a great IPA waiting for me at the end

  4. Kelda Schmidt

    • General contact for the Travel Oregon Global Marketing Team
    • Supports ongoing relationships with regional and industry partners to create and implement programs that support Global Marketing goals and Travel Oregon’s strategic plan
    • Coordinates the evaluation of sponsorship and promotional opportunities presented to Travel Oregon

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love to load my family in our camper van and hit the Coast to surf, fish and run on the beach

  5. Mark Senffner

    • Manages projects from multiple areas of the marketing services group
    • Manages day-to-day operations of creative services; develops and delivers creative materials to meet agency needs
    • Manages creative assets/archives on behalf of agency

    • Develops and executes proactive media strategy and corporate communications plan
    • Coordinates statewide messaging alignment with internal and external partners

  7. Allison Keeney

    • Supports Director, Global Communications, in implementing public relations strategies for Travel Oregon
    • Manages domestic consumer media relations in an effort to raise awareness of Oregon and garner high-quality earned media coverage
    • Manages relationship with PR agency of record to ensure it is fulfilling program and campaign goals and responsibilities within budget

  8. Jaime Eder

    • Supports Director, Global Communications, and Manager, Global Communications in implementing public relations strategies for Travel Oregon
    • Manages coverage reports and analytics of earned media coverage related to Travel Oregon’s programs and campaigns
    • Coordinates media visits and events; organizes meetings with external partners and internal teams; provides administrative support as needed

    • Manages the industry e-newsletter and works across the organization to develop content and strategy for delivery
    • Develops and manages the editorial calendar for communications to Oregon’s travel & tourism industry
    • Works with the Integrated Marketing team on industry website development and improvement

    • Oversees long-term global digital strategy and brand presence for Travel Oregon across owned, paid and earned channels
    • Manages global publishing and editorial content strategy across portfolio of print and digital channels
    • Creates, implements, manages and measures all digital efforts and reports against key performance indicators

  11. Emily Forsha

    • Manages the day-to-day editorial workflow across Travel Oregon’s portfolio of print and online channels, including, consumer email newsletters, social media and print guides
    • Manages the global editorial programming calendar and ensures all digital and print publications meet the highest standards for quality communication and align with Travel Oregon style and content standards
    • Works with agency teams and partners to plan content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and trip planning among targeted audiences

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Finding new trails to hike and new craft brews to taste

  12. Kate Jorgensen

    • Manages project and program deliverables, team, schedule, scope and budget
    • Acts as liasion between internal and external clients, integrated team and contractors
    • Collaborates with the digital team and external clients to create, implement, manage and measure all digital efforts against key performance indicators

  13. Sachie Yorck

    • Executes daily content production on, including editing and publishing Trip Ideas and maintaining key pages
    • Produces consumer email newsletters
    • Manages Ask Oregon inquiries

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Soaking in hot springs on a cold winter day or cooling off in a calm river during the summertime and finding agates

  14. Cecilia Suvagian

    • Oversees the management of POI content
    • Manages day-to-day operations in Oregon Tourism Information System
    • Supports Integrated Marketing Team

    Favorite Oregon Activity: Listening to live music outdoors or enjoying a delicious Oregon beverage at a brewery with a view.

  15. Michael Sturdevant

    • Leads global advertising planning, evaluation and development of cooperative partner opportunities, business development and fulfillment/call center
    • Works with external and internal stakeholders in development and management of Regional Cooperative Marketing Plans
    • Oversees research and analytics and the Business Intelligence Platform

  16. Ladan Ghahramani

    •Oversees Travel Oregon’s research program to provide meaningful data and insights, which can be used to inform strategic decisions across the Oregon tourism industry
    •Conducts research and provides strategic analysis, which is then communicated to Travel Oregon’s stakeholders
    •Manages third party vendors to deliver accurate and relevant research to help Travel Oregon reach its goals

  17. Bryan Mullaney

    Favorite Oregon Activity: I love spending hours in the mountains exploring Oregon’s incredible singletrack trails

    • Manages Travel Oregon’s advertising agencies in the day-to-day execution of media plans
    • Oversees the visitor lifecycle management (VLM) platform, which provides visitors with relevant, aspirational and timely content based on their travel needs.
    • Manages the business intelligence system that tracks key performance measures and translates them into recommendations for strategic marketing direction

    • Manages Travel Oregon’s consumer data assets
    • Builds comprehensive reports & dashboards to assist in strategic marketing decisions

    • Oversees domestic guide fulfillment & call center

  19. Holly Van De Wege

    • Coordinates projects and tasks related to Travel Oregon’s fulfillment, research, analytics and welcome center programs.
    • Serves as primary contact for and provides day-to-day oversight of Travel Oregon’s fulfilment vendor.
    • Provides support to various marketing initiatives, as needed, including fulfillment of online sweepstakes and contest prizes.

    • Manages state network of Welcome Centers; Oversees day-to-day operation of Welcome Center at PDX

  21. Stephannie Lewis

    • Provides high level customer service to PDX airport passengers assisting in their travel plans while in Oregon
    • Assists with facilitation of the Welcome Center Brochure Program
    • Trains team members on facts about Oregon to ensure all are highly knowledgeable about current events and
