
Global Marketing
The Global Marketing team executes best-in-class marketing to consumers in our key domestic and international markets.
We are recognized as a national leader in innovative communications strategies, inspiring website content and cutting-edge marketing tools—all of which inspire and help our visitors at every stage of their Oregon experience from trip inspiration to on the ground resources. The studios that make up the Global Marketing team are: Marketing Insight & Visitor Services, Integrated Marketing, Marketing Services and Global Communications. Collectively, these studios manage Travel Oregon’s state Welcome Center program, conduct industry-wide research, produce content on TravelOregon.com and all social media channels, ensure that all collateral is on-brand, and secure earned media coverage of the state (just to name a few).

• Leads efforts in industry media relations to raise awareness of the value of tourism for Oregon’s economy, communities and environment.
• Develops and executes the annual industry communications plan.
• Writes and edits a wide range of documents, talking points, press releases; serves as spokesperson for Travel Oregon.
• Acts as backup for consumer communications PR inquiries.

• Leads new partnerships and revenue programs with DMOs, brand and other state agencies

• Oversees planning, development and management of the editorial content calendar and social media programs
• Creates and maintains agency's editorial style guide and contributor guidelines
• Leads production of all consumer print guides and digital editorial content, including video

• Plan and manage daily consumer-facing social media editorial calendar.

• Acts as the primary support for Travel Oregon’s research function.
• Assists in the execution and publication of the research studies conducted either in-house or through contractors.
• The outcome of these studies translate into decisions and tactics that align with the agency’s strategic plan and goals.

• Oversees the visitor lifecycle management (VLM) platform, which provides visitors with relevant, aspirational and timely content based on their travel needs.
• Manages the business intelligence system that tracks key performance measures and translates them into recommendations for strategic marketing direction
Favorite Oregon Activity: I love spending hours in the mountains exploring Oregon’s incredible singletrack trails.

• Supports the development and implementation of the VLM program and marketing automation platform to automate custom content delivery throughout Travel Oregon’s marketing channels
• Manages the daily activities within the marketing automation platform, executing campaigns that maximize retention and focus on lead nurturing.

• Builds comprehensive reports & dashboards to assist in strategic marketing decisions
