If your farm, ranch, vineyard or fishery entertains visitors or conducts direct-to-consumer sales, you’re encouraged to participate in this survey. The goal is to learn more about farm stands, u-picks, CSAs, tastings, school field trips, events, tours, hunting, overnight stays and other ways that you open your business or attraction to the public.
This survey is part of a national study to better understand agritourism and farm-direct sales. Oregon-based results will be used by the Oregon Agritourism Working Group, a coalition of agriculture and tourism partners, and by Oregon State University Extension. The survey will help identify the best management practices for these types of operations and help assess the economic impacts. Results will also be used to develop tools and resources for farmers.
