Oregon Travel & Tourism Industry Achievement Awards
The Oregon Travel & Tourism Industry Achievement Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments during the previous calendar year.
The state’s most prized recognition is the Governor’s Tourism Award. This year’s award was given to Carolyn Hill, Executive Director of the Crater Lake National Park Trust and CEO of Travel Southern Oregon, and to Craig Ackerman, Superintendent of Crater Lake National Park, for their efforts in finalizing a sister park agreement between Crater Lake National Park and Wuyishan National Scenic Area (a UNESCO World Heritage Site in China).
We encourage year-round participation in nominating an Oregon individual, organization, business, community or tourism region. Nominations for the 2016 awards are now closed. Nominations for 2017 awards will open in June 2017.
