Oakridge Area
Rural Tourism Studio
The Oakridge Area Rural Tourism Studio focused on the town of Oakridge, a former logging town located east of the Willamette Valley on the west side of the Cascade Mountains.
The Oakridge Area Rural Tourism Studio was created in response to the destination’s desire to continue to develop bicycle tourism and geotourism, which it had identified as new opportunities to help diversify local employment beyond its struggling timber industry.
