Travel Oregon’s leadership team drives the strategies aimed at long-term organizational and industry success.
This charge includes setting the strategic direction of Travel Oregon, ensuring the work we do is aligned with our key objectives, and making sure that the agency’s resources are invested at their highest and best use.
• Leads relationship with Governor, Legislature, Tourism Commission and state agencies.
• Leads relationship with national tourism policy and strategy, administration and Congress.
• Oversees agency strategic direction and performance.
• Oversees agency administration, resource allocation, vision and culture.
Favorite Oregon Activity: Fly fishing any number of incredible spots in Oregon.
• Provides administrative support and coordinates all matters related to CEO’s schedule, travel and correspondence.
• Provides administrative support for Executive team meetings and agency initiatives.
• Serves as administrative support lead for the agency to Executive Assistants.
Favorite Oregon Activity: Exploring all the beautiful waterfall hikes Oregon has to offer with our family.
• Serves as a liaison between employees, executives, senior leaders, and the CEO regarding agency climate, employee engagement, project updates, proposals, and planning efforts.
• Manages CEO Office staff and oversees relationships with the Oregon Tourism Commission.
• Coordinates across departments to advise CEO on internal and high-impact partnerships opportunities to support industry and community partners.
Favorite Oregon Activity: Exploring and enjoying the vast and plentiful foods that are uniquely Oregon …. Marionberries being my favorite!
• Manages the Oregon Tourism Commission operations and engagement.
• Oversees Oregon Tourism Commission meetings.
• Supports CEO Office administration.
Favorite Oregon Activity: Running or cycling Oregon’s many trails and devouring summer vegetables.
• Leads the agency’s destination stewardship strategy, management of departmental and organizational operations and delivery of regionally based destination, investment, product and community development outcomes to support Travel Oregon’s mission.
• Oversees staffing, priorities, outcomes and budgets, and serves as the liaison with industry organizations to provide facilitation and funding to communities and the industry.
• In service to the agency, leads the critical functions of communications, industry relations, public affairs, portfolio management and strategy, research and analytics.
• Works across departments and in partnership with executive team to measure progress toward the agency’s strategic vision through key performance indicators that ensure agency-wide collaboration and alignment.
• Develops and maintains industry partnerships in support of the agency and Oregon’s tourism industry.
Favorite Oregon Activity: Spending time at the coast and wine tasting
• Applies systemic and strategic thinking to develop and execute the market awareness strategy, management of departmental and organizational operations, and delivery of branding, advertising, promotion, and sales outcomes to support Travel Oregon’s mission.
• Manages staffing/talent, priorities, outcomes, and budgets, and serves as a liaison with industry organizations to provide counsel to local communities and businesses to elevate the awareness of Oregon as a travel destination.
