Welcome Center Brochure Program

Connect with Travelers Ready to Explore Oregon

Did you know that over 250,000 travelers visit Oregon’s Welcome Centers each year? These aren’t just casual browsers — they’re highly engaged visitors actively seeking experiences, accommodations and attractions during their Oregon adventure. Our friendly Travel Advisors help them do just that. A recent study showed that visitors to Travel Oregon’s welcome centers spend 68% more on their entire trip compared to other travelers. In actual amounts, this translates to an average expenditure of $492 per trip, compared to $293 per trip. (Source Dean Runyan)

Oregon Postal Automated Leads (OPAL)

Get your printed visitor guides into more hands by leveraging your connection with Travel Oregon.
Oregon Postal Automated Leads (OPAL) connects RDMO and DMO partners directly with domestic travelers who want printed visitor guides. Travelers who order visitor guides from TravelOregon.com will have an opportunity to also request available partner guides.

How does it work?

• When a traveler submits their order on TravelOregon.com, Tourism Engine will parse out the address information to the selected partners. Tourism Engine is a powerful email marketing, marketing automation and leads processing solution built specifically for the Tourism Industry.
• Requests for specific partner guides will be sent directly and automatically to the corresponding DMO partner.
• Partners still manage their own shipping and fulfillment. OPAL is designed to be another source of leads for the partner’s existing fulfillment program.
• There are two pricing options available depending on each partner’s specific data needs, as well as a one-time setup cost. Partners should also budget for any additional postage/shipping costs resulting from the additional source of requests.
• There is a maximum of five DMOs per region who can participate in the program.
