Developing Marketing & Content Strategy
Staying Visible as Search Behavior Changes (00:53:32)
For years, DMO websites relied on search engines to connect travelers with information. When a traveler searched for something like “best things to do in Oregon,” appearing near the top of the results could drive valuable visits to a DMO website.
That’s changing. Search engines and AI tools are increasingly providing answers directly on the results page, meaning travelers may find what they need without clicking through to a website. These “zero-click” searches are changing how DMOs need to think about being visible online.
This presentation will cover strategies to help DMOs remain visible, useful, and discoverable as search behavior continues to evolve.
Join us to learn where to focus your efforts, what you can do with the resources you already have, and which strategies can help your destination stay visible in the changing search landscape.
Hosted by Wade McCarthy of Travel Oregon.
