Grant Writing Workshops

Grant writing workshops are offered periodically through the year. 

Travel Oregon has currently been offering a Grantsmithing 101 workshop designed to strengthen participants’ skills, sharpen their strategy, and help them approach grants from a funder’s perspective. The workshop has been held in three regions of the state during 2025 in coordination with Oregon Coast Visitors Association (Yachats and Reedsport), Travel Southern Oregon (Grants Pass), and Travel Portland (Downtown Portland).

Additional workshops will likely be held in additional tourism regions during 2026. The Grantsmithing 101 workshop will also be presented in coordination with the following conferences:

Nonprofit Association of Oregon’s Non-Profit Leaders Conference – April 13-14, 2026 – Ashland (pending)

Oregon Heritage Conference – April 29-May 2, 2026 – Woodburn (pending)

Travel Oregon is currently not offering any grant writing workshops through our staff, but when informed will share other grant writing trainings that may be beneficial.
