Travel Oregon is accepting story idea submissions for our consumer-facing and industry-facing communication channels. Content may be used for media pitching and shared internally for consideration across Travel Oregon’s channels. We’d love to hear about tourism offerings, experiences or destinations that can be included in a future editorial pitch. See our July 2024 – December 2024 editorial calendar.

Have an event to share? Boost your event visibility with our new calendar.

Travel Oregon has launched an enhanced Events Calendar experience to showcase the best tourism activities throughout the state. Check out the calendar at www.traveloregon.com/events. The events calendar is populated by our tourism database called the Oregon Tourism Information System.  Please note, we only provide direct access to the database to DMOs and Travel Oregon staff.

To be included, your events must:

• Be located in Oregon
• Be tourism related and open to the public
• Have wide enough appeal to draw visitors from at least 50 miles away
• Meet all safety requirements (properly insured and legally compliant)

Two options for sharing your info:

• Reach out to your local or regional destination marketing organization (DMO) to ask them to add your event to OTIS.
• Send an email to OTIS@traveloregon.com with all event information (who, what, where, why, when, cost and a high-quality image or two).
