Guides and Outfitters Certification

If you accept fees or other compensation to lead, instruct, train, pack, guide or otherwise assist people in rafting, biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, or any other outdoor recreational activities on public lands or land you do not solely control, you and your employees must be registered through the Oregon State Marine Board (OSMB). You can register with the OSMB online here.

If you offer hunting or fishing experiences, your guides and participants need to adhere to regulations from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW). Licenses and Permits can be obtained online here.
