Travel Oregon with Travel Oregon Campaign Toolkit
On Tuesday, January 2 – March 3, Travel Oregon will run our winter portion of Travel Oregon with Travel Oregon to drive travel intent and conversions through trusted media partners. Our primary goals are to:
- Drive traffic and site sessions to traveloregon.com and/or dedicated OTA landing pages to encourage overnight bookings.
- Prioritize driving immediate bookings among our audiences to Oregon during the Winter shoulder season.
- Build on the interest and excitement that Oregon is an easy and welcoming place to visit year-round.
We will be reaching our primary target (A25-54 Active Adventurer, Sustainability-Minded ) and secondary target (A25-54 BIPOC Active Adventurer, Sustainability-Minded ) with the paid media spend across these channels (please read this white paper for more detailed information on our media target):
- Digital:
- Online Travel Agency
- Native
- Online Video
- Social:
- Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok
- Search:
- Google/YouTube
On social media, we are building excitement and inspiration around winter itineraries, with a heavy emphasis on visits to site to support travelers in the planning process. This includes additional production of our regional content (as a reminder this is Day in the Life of a Guide, Lodging and PSA), featuring the Coast and Willamette Valley (all regions will be done within the Fiscal Year).
Lastly, to reward in state travel we have created 30 limited-edition-highly-sought-after-once-in-a-lifetime trading cards that will be distributed at our Welcome Centers featuring top winter events, activities and inspiration. The cards will be distributed in packs of 7, and one lucky of our sweepstakes (launching Jan 16) will win a full set of cards + guided experience. Please check back for more information about the cards soon.
