The Four Rivers Culinary and Agritourism Studio focused on the Eastern Oregon communities of Ontario, Nyssa, Vale and the surrounding area develop their potential as a culinary and agritourism destination by enhancing existing assets.
Four Rivers Culinary and Agritourism Studio highlights:
- [X Number of] local tourism stakeholders and residents participated in a two-day workshop April 9-10, 2018. Attendees learned about culinary and agritourism asset identification, qualities of successful agritourism experiences, market trends, state tourism resources and the state’s 10-year agritourism development vision. - Travel Oregon published the 3 Days of Four Rivers Flavors trip idea in January 2019 on TravelOregon.com to highlight the local assets and opportunities that were discussed during the workshops.
- Travel Oregon awarded the Four Rivers Culinary and Agritourism Studio community a $5,000 tourism studio matching grant in January 2019 to develop the Four Rivers Farm and Garden Trail.
