2017-2019 Strategic Plan
In 2016, given the significant funding increase with the passage of Oregon HB 4146, mandated changes and the evolution of Oregon’s growing tourism industry, we embarked on a comprehensive engagement and insight process to gather input from industry partners, key stakeholders and staff to build our 2017-2019 Strategic Plan.

Plan Feedback & Adoption Timeline (2017)
- March 21, 2017 – Draft Plan public comment period opened
- April 11, 2017 – Draft Plan presentation to Oregon Tourism Commission; Public testimony on plan
- May 1, 2017 – Draft Plan comment period closed
- June 20, 2017 – Commission adopted final 2017-2019 Strategic Plan in Bend
- July 1, 2017 – Strategic Plan went into effect
