Frequently Asked Questions
OTIS powers tourism listings on TravelOregon.com and several tourism industry partner websites. Below are answers to common questions we receive.
If you are still uncertain about if or how you might use OTIS, please send an email detailing your specific questions to OTIS@traveloregon.com.
1.) I work for a destination management organization in Oregon. Can I use OTIS?
Yes. Representatives of local and regional destination management organizations (DMOs) are eligible for an OTIS account where they can input listing updates directly in OTIS. Please register for an OTIS user account at https://otis.traveloregon.com/
2.) Can I use OTIS if I represent another organization in Oregon’s tourism industry?
Sometimes. Please reach out to OTIS@traveloregon.com, and tell us more about your role and to see if you qualify for an OTIS user account.
3.) I am a business owner or manager. Can I use OTIS?
Individual businesses are not eligible for an OTIS user account, however all tourism businesses in Oregon are eligible to have a listing. To be considered, your business must:

- be open to the general public
- have wide enough appeal to attract visitors willing to travel 50 miles or more
- comply with required licensing and/or taxation laws
